What lovely prose, I can see your Dad exercising and happy. And this "...but I am my father’s daughter." is worth everything. You are more your Papa's daughter than you realize. Well done.

What a great example you had growing up. I had active parents, but not like that. I didn't get into a habit until my boys were grown.

Hi Robyn, Bravo to your Dad! Habits seem to be a plus and a minus for me. They keep me doing things I might not want to do, but they also need to be reviewed from time to time because some are old and outdated..

I love this, Robyn: "My purpose now is to be that role model for my family." Being a role model to friends and family is such a powerful and meaningful "why" to drive your life. I'm going to remember this more on those days I really don't feel like working out or sticking to my routine.
