Watching my husband replace decking at seventy-nine makes me reflect on capability, independence, and risk.
He really is a keeper, even if he does scares us with his contraptions sometimes.

Yes Steve, I’m with you. But even as he scales back, he still retains the capability to know how things work and that is gold.
Robyn, I was so happy when my husband decided to give up cleaning the house gutters himself. Because of the lay of the land, our house is one story in the front and 2.5 in the back! He was capable, but it stressed me out.
