I moved from City life over 20 years ago now and love living in the countryside. But I do like to return and take a trip down that long, long memory lane occasionally.
I remember those villages that always seemed very distant from the city as I was growing up.
The distance has now evaporated; the villages have been consumed as the city expanded.

This definitely landed with me today! I turned 45 recently and I’ve been struck by a strong wave of nostalgia. Maybe I’ll write about it, too!
